Myla and Davis is a really popular salon group; our clients trust us not only as a brand but as a team, and new stylists can expect to join us with a busy column from the off.

We always allocate good sized appointment times and an excellent assistant to stylist ratio to ensure that our team – whether stylist or assistant – do not feel rushed or overstretched. We feel like this is a real point of difference at m&d.

We have a variety of positions available, from part-time/full-time to self-employed or employed. Offering flexibility with working days and hours.

We are committed to achieving balance in your role with us – whether you work with us full-time or alongside another responsibility. Double maternity or paternity pay is just one way we seek to realise this balance.

Expertise and Education

At Myla and Davis we believe that our job is to create beautiful, wearable hair and make them feel great.

We are experts in our field and have regular team-wide education workshops, designed to share ideas, learn new techniques and inspire our creative work.

We look both inwards to our staff to share their knowledge and skills, as well as externally to the best in the industry to increase our collective experience.

We are committed to each individual stylist’s professional development and support a multitude of different interests and ambitions.

There is great potential for career progression into management, education, the creative team and teaching.

Support and Socials

At Myla and Davis, community is a central part of our culture, we pride ourselves on having a team that work together both in and out of the salon. This is one of the many reasons our staff retention has remained so high over 13 years of business.

Our salons are run with a management structure that has communication between all members of our team at its heart, and a dedicated external Employee Assistance Programme to support our team’s health and wellbeing – both professionally and personally.

We love to support our team in things that they love doing so if you can think of another area which needs focus and expansion we are open to that too!

We also recognise the importance of socialising with those you work with, so have regular socials from salon wide events to individual salon bonding days.

Sustainable and Conscious

As a Salon we are committed to being more green, sustainable and eco-aware. That is why we chose ’Davines’ for our salons. As a B-Corp that is transparent and committed to being a brand that is both kind to hair and our environment, it felt like the perfect fit for Myla. We also work with Green Salon Collective to ensure even our waste is handled responsibly and sustainably. Being environmentally conscious is very important to us as a company and we are constantly researching and working to be even more green.
