Our salon policies

Cancellation policy

When life gets busy, we know you might need to reschedule, but please give us at least 48 hours notice of any changes.

This allows us to offer your spot to another fortunate customer and make the most of our stylist’s availability. You never know when you might require a last-minute cancellation on a different day.

Regretfully, if you don’t provide over 48 hours notice, your appointment will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

LATE POLICY

Terrible traffic, never-ending work calls, disappearing buses just let us know if you’re running late, and we’ll do our best to fit you in.

If you’re delayed by more than 10 minutes, we might need to reschedule or offer an alternative service in the time available. This is so we can give you the best possible experience and service, without any rush.

Missed appointments will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

PATCH TESTS

There is no argument that we all love colouring our hair and using Davines colour but…  it is still a chemical and it is really important you get a patch test done to make sure you don’t have a reaction.

A patch test is a quick and simple way to make sure your skin is happy before your colour appointment. It’s an essential safety step, and we won’t be able to carry out your colour service without one.

There are two ways you can complete your patch test with us: in-salon or at home.

Take a look at our patch test page to see which option suits you best.

PRICING POLICY

At Myla and Davis, we create bespoke haircuts and colours to a high technical standard.

If you have long or thick hair, we like to book extra time, which may incur an additional charge. Please let our reception team know when booking your appointment.

If you’re unsure, your stylist will be able to assess your hair before your service begins and let you know if any additional time or charges apply before starting.

GREEN LEVY

We know our clients care about the planet just as much as we do and that is why we work with a multitude of other sustainable companies.

One of them is ‘Green Salon Collective’. They tackle recycling challenges in the hair industry, handling everything from hair and colour packaging to tubes and foils. Diverting all our waste from landfills.

This process is amazing, but it does come at an extra very worthwhile cost, so we charge £2 per client to make sure every appointment has the lowest possible environmental impact. For more information on what we do to make our salons as sustainable as possible check out our sustainability page.
