Join our team: Receptionist

Responsibilities

– Greeting and welcoming clients in a friendly and professional manner
– Tending to customer needs, inquiries, and complaints
– Informing stylists about customer appointments and requirements
– Managing phone calls, online bookings, emails, deliveries and stock inventory
– Processing bookings and cancellations, and managing appointment schedules
– Ensuring that the reception area is kept clean and tidy
– Processing transactions and issuing receipts
– End of day cashing up
– Performing administrative tasks such s filing, updating records, processing invoices and logging transactions
– Retail product and service knowledge

Requirements

– A minimum of 1-year experience as a receptionist in a customer-facing environment
– Proficiency in administrative computer and telephone software such as gmail and google drive – experience with salon software a bonus
– The ability to remain calm, positive and professional in all situations
– Excellent customer service skills
– Consistently professional presentation and pleasant demeanour
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Exceptional time management and organisational abilities
– And most importantly we think, be a natural team player who cares for the rest of their team
